When an order is placed with our team, the plant will be delivered on time and we will comply with all site delivery instructions and timetables. We offer a proactive and flexible service meaning that if a late order is placed for next day delivery; our team will endeavour to fulfil site requirements wherever possible, often on very short notice.
Breakdowns are kept to a minimum by a strict maintenance regime and by our plant renewal policy, meaning that all of our machines are less than 3 years old. In the event of a breakdown we aim to be onsite within 60-90 minutes, this response time minimises downtime. We currently hold accounts with a nationwide network of hose repair companies which work to supplement McGeoghan’s own in house repair service.
All of our excavators are fitted with fully automatic twin lock hitches. All operated plant will be supplied with a driver that is trained to use this quick hitch; if the excavator is on a self-drive hire, we can offer on-site quick hitch training and provide the relevant certification.
Our excavators are fitted with HI-MATE computer systems which maximise the productivity of our machines by allowing access to information such as fuel usage, tracker reports, machine operations and Geo fencing. HI-MATE’s preemptive fault management system detects early signs of fuel contamination, machine overheating and other common causes of breakdowns, leaving enough time to rectify the issue without the need for lengthy stoppages.
